The Common Procurement Vocabulary codes are strings of numbers which define different products and services.
Procurers use these codes to specify what they are procuring.
There are about 10 000 of these codes and they are good but not always perfectly accurate either because the procurer did not pick the exact one or because there is not a specific one for what they need.
As a consequence it is good to use these codes for your products and services but also look at ones that are close to your products and services as well to cover the possible misses as well as adding keywords for safety and reinforcing the results accuracy.
The CPV codes are especially useful if you are looking for tenders in a different country as they are the same throughout the European Union and cut out the issue of translation (at least for the finding of opportunities aspect).
We search and select these codes for you but if you want to have a look at them and want to pick them as well, we have attached the file to this post.
